got home from our show on friday at 2am. Thanks to all who came out. It was one of my favorite nights of music in a long time in Nashville, and an especially amazing thing to see Timshel at 42 weeks pregnant, doing whatever it is that we do on stage. Woke up at 830am saturday to go to the hospital and have baby. After about 13 and a half hours of labor, Timshel gave birth to Lazarus Matheny, 8 lbs and 1 oz, officially weighing in as the heaviest of our 3 kids (at birth). Â The hand in this above photo is our 5 year old’s. And I have to say that my wife the greatest and most unbelievable woman I’ve ever met.
