Our three year old has recently discovered one of the better soundtracks for a pillow fight is the Prelude / Overture to Bizet’s Carmen. This little piece of music, which was my introduction to Opera in general, came when I was a kid through a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial. I asked my dad what it was, and he knew the Composer, etc. I didn’t think much about it until I watched the Bad News Bears later in the same year. Wow. If you have kids, I suggest throwing/receiving pillows in their/your face in time with the big cymbal hits.Â
