RCA Studio B
I think it will be years before we ever fully calm down after getting a chance to record inside of this place. Thank you so much to our good friend Matt who invited us in to dork out, ooh and ahh, sit down and play on the same piano as the Everlys, sing into the same microphone as Elvis (straight from it’s big old dusty box in the back room), squeek around on those waxed floors, breath in the still lingering smell of years and years and years of amazing and profound music… Yes. Nothing to hide , no shame here…this was a major mind blow for each of us. wow. and oh my goodness.
We did our best to try and plan our evening out since we knew that we would only have a handful of hours and,oh,… that other looming detail, our third ep to record and finish up. But the truth is, it was foolish to think we could or should plan anything when going into this place. The best thing we could do was just sit tight and let the room take effect. Oh, and hope to God that we didn’t mess things up.
